#Anbernic Arc-S update: Still loving it. The colours look too vibrant here but that's 100% my phone's processing, the colours on the screen look pretty much bang on to perfect. I should also have had way more chaos emeralds than this by the time I got up to Marble Garden, but I'm pretty sure that's a skill issue and not the Arc's fault.

I'm starting to see why handhelds are so popular - being able to just pick it up for a level or two rather than a marathon is neat.

I’ve been sitting on this project for like six months and decided to actually do it today for #FreeCADFriday

Here’s a simple cover for an Anbernic RG35XX H to protect the buttons and keep the sticks from getting snagged when you take it in and out.

I designed it to reuse the foam from the original packaging but modeled a version so you can print the insert in TPU as well.

Found another opportunity for some proper #retrogaming, this time Sonic Spinball - from that time SEGA USA decided Sonic needed a more familiar environment to ping around in. It's been a decade at least since I last played Spinball, and at least two since I last bothered completing it, but I still know my way around the Toxic Caves, at least.

Thinking about getting a modern handheld for further amusement, something like an #Anbernic ARC - thoughts from the fediverse on that?
