Found this Atari 400 Keyboard Overlay at VCF West and can't find Anything about it; besides one post that showed pictures, but They didn't know anything about it either. 
Q*bert ad by Parker Brothers from 1983, for Atari 2600/5200/home computers, Commodore Vic-20/64, Intellivision, TI 99/4a, and Colecovision. "How to Get Q*Bert Out of Your System." Parker Brothers made their wide support of multiple systems a selling point in their marketing.
Ad for Roklan Software's Wizard of Wor, Deluxe Invaders, and Gorf for the Atari 400/800. Roklan had a reputation for making excellent versions of arcade games for Atari's home computer line.

@thomasfuchs #Atari400 was my first, but almost immediately followed by an AIM-64 and TRS-80 Model 3. With the help of the local library, I learned #BASIC, #MOS6502 Assembly, and #FORTH on those machines. And they set my course towards software and hardware engineering.
They were all second-hand, given to me by friends and family. I wish I had photos and especially the machines, but sadly they've been lost to time and yard sales.
Looking through some of the behind the scenes photos from our various interviews for a documentary I'm working on called #TechnicallyImprobable! about the tech industry in and around #GrassValleyCA.
All of these interviews center on the #atari research and development arm that was located there, initially called #CyanEngineering. This is where a bunch of arcade games were designed, as well as the #Atari2600 and #Atari400 and #Atari800 computers.
@rick @Alyzande The #Atari400 is the first computer I ever used. My dad was one of Atari computer lab managers at the junior high he taught at. He brought Atari 400 and 800 systems home, along with games on tape(!) drive. Eventually he bought an #Atari1200XL
The #Atari800 system here came with three disk drives and three tape drives. Not sure what I’m going to do with them yet, but just imagine how many games I could pirate for all my friends!
I’m Jez from the #UK. I’ve been employed as a #SoftwareEngineer since 1994 in a variety of companies. I have also made #iOS games and contributed to #OpenSource Projects including #Groovy
I was inspired to code on the #Atari400 in the early 80’s, followed by the #BBCMicro #AmstradPCW #Amiga #PCXT and #486 PCs, I still use most of these and the #FPGA #retrocomputing remakes
I also design #MechanicalPuzzles, and enjoy the theory and technique behind #CardMagic
