les briquesÀ Hagen, si on veut bien prendre la peine de gravir une petite colline sur le côté de la ville, on découvre derrière ce bâtiment d’entrée les immeubles bas de la Cuno-Siedlung. C’est un ensemble de logements ouvriers des années 1920, à l’époque tout ce qu’il y a de fonctionnels (et notamment dotés de cuisines dites “de Francfort”, forme pionnière des cuisines équipées modernes). Wikipédia nous apprend que l’ensemble a été élaboré par l’architecte municipal en chef Ewald Figge avec une flopée de confrères (“Wiehl, Balser, Woltmann, Günther et Büchsenschütz, Wachenfeld”), sans oublier quelques artistes (la sculpture qu’on voit là est de Karel Niesrath). les briquesJe me souviens que c’était la finale de la Coupe du monde et que j’ai croisé dans la rue une famille de canards en procession.
