shom ✊🏽🐧📷🤿🏔️🪚My commute to work is fairly tame 5 miles (8 km), but I wish a lot more of it was on the paved bike trail instead of having to use the sidewalk and parking lot (the adjacent streets and drivers on them are less than ideal). TimHey Tim, why do you sort of hate "protected" bike lanes in Portland?1. They're just gutters not actual infrastructure. 2. Paint and flexible plastic tubes don't protect anyone from anything. 3. If for whatever reason you can't ride in the lane, drivers get extra agro. 4. They get cleaned even less than unprotected lanes.
