Pàgina de Manel Guerra · Una ètica d'origen per la IAL’ús de la IA s’ha generalitzat i adoptat (voluntària o forçadament) de manera massiva, però jo segueixo tenint molts dubtes sobre algunes de les seves aplicacions, dels seus efectes, i de les conseqüències que això pot tenir. Per serendípia, m’he trobat amb el número 221 (gener de 2024) de la revista Valors, amb el monogràfic “Necessitem una ètica per a la intel·ligència artificial?”. Ja fa any i mig llarg dels articles… però amb el desenvolupament actual de la tecnologia, l’impacte social que té, i l’aplicació que hi estem veient en política, comunicació, defensa (diguem-li guerra) i ordre públic (diguem-li ús policial) no ha perdut pas vigència; al contrari, fa de bon revisar, perquè queda més clar que la legislació (o legislacions vigents a diferents parts del món) res tenen a fer si no s’hi aplica una ètica en el mateix origen del sistema.

I gravitate toward playing “helping” archetypes in team games. Whether it’s a MOBA or squads in Fortnite, I tend to play as a support for my team rather than the “main character”.
I wonder how much of that has to do with my fear of failure? If I’m in the habit of carrying my team, it feels really bad when I don’t do well. But playing support roles usually gives me a lot more wiggle room for errors. At the same time, I know I just enjoy helping others.

Re-posting the idea more widely, since (mumble mumble) post scope (mumble) Mastodon, you know.

I've seen a few Reddit posts about "convenient" QR code generators that'll track metrics for you - for a monthly payment It generates a redirect URL through their service and a QR code for that link. If you don't pay up, your QR code becomes an ad for their site. So, of course, I did the logical thing...

And wrote an underhanded URL shortener.

The first click goes one place, so it seems like it works. Paste it into Discord or Signal and it'll generate the thumbnail for the first site provided. Then, everyone else who clicks gets the OTHER url provided. The current implementation tracks click count so it'd be easy to change the code to only modify the redirect after a dozen accesses, or whatever makes sense

I gave it a terrible name to drive engagement. "Whoopsydoodle."
