The #Dodgers (29-18) get swept in 3 games by the #Angels & the #Padres (27-18) get swept in 3 games by the #Mariners.
So by sweeping the #Athletics, the Giants (28-19) pick up 3 games on both of those teams & are only 1 game behind LA in statistical tie with SD in 2nd in the NL West.
Next up, a 3 game series vs the #Royals (26-22) at home.
