@admin Bonjour. En parallèle à Piaille, j'ai une instance #bookwyrm avec laquelle je partage notamment des citations de livres. J'ai remarqué un changement depuis cette dernière mise à jour concernant une histoire d'approbation des citations.
Je me demande si vous avez activé une option particulière sur Piaille parce que cette mention (en PJ) n'apparaît pas sur des versions (plus récentes) comme mastodon.social.
Je dis ça parce que depuis je rencontre des soucis avec des posts (uniquement des citations) qui n'apparaissent plus sur Piaille mais qui apparaissent sur d'autres instances.

I tested it so far on #alpine #debian deployed services with either #caddy , #apache2 / #httpd and #nginx for the following services #nextcloud, #mastodon, #forgejo, #lemmy, #funkwhale, #bookwyrm and a #minecraft #mapviewer with little hassle and no big issues

Following the use of #anubis, all scrapper (AI and regular) logs dropped drastically and bandwitch usage was cut by two third on the mastodon instance and half for the others services

Trying Bookwyrm

Besides programming and all kinds of IT stuff, I really like reading books. Regarding my Calibre library, I am reading between 10 and 20+ books a year. The spectrum covers a couple of IT books but mostly Science Fiction and Fantasy books.

And since I joined Mastodon and thus the Fediverse, I came across Bookwyrm a couple of times. Bookwyrm describes itself as “[…] a social network for tracking your reading, talking about books, writing reviews, and discovering what to read next. Just tried #bookwyrm with a calibre import of about 280 books.
Result: over 100 failed to import . I'm not yet sure if I'll add all of them over time or just new ones

At least I added the first 6 or so. But it's quite time consuming. - yet I notice it could be easier if I just search for the ISBN.. I'll try that later

Luckily Bert is right, you don't HAVE to read Dostoyevsky But you can if you want
