Does anyone know of some business reason why this regime would want to put pressure on FlixBus/Greyhound? Is it as simple as trying to reduce ways of getting around that don't involve driving a gas car or flying in a plane?

EDIT: Answer in replies - has to do with Greyhound not letting ICE on buses without a warrant.

The right-wing, which does not give a fuck about actual disabled people, has been using the ADA as a way to go after "liberal" higher ed, so when I heard about this action under this regime, I immediately wondered what they wanted to extract out of FlixBus.

So we decided to make a publicly-accessible archive of Bus Open Data ourselves. We got an old computer that a colleague had laying around and an 8TB hard drive. That 8TB will fill up over the coming months but that's a problem that can be dealt with as we get to it. We felt it best to get something up and running first before needing to address every issue. Our archive is at data.datalibrary.uk/transport/
