More crowd wisdom (smart variety) requested: How to sync MS outlook calendar with an Android phone in the least privacy-violating way possible (that still works without a ton of fussing)?

I know MS is a privacy nightmare. However, my job requires it now, and all calendar events will be on Outlook. Missing them is quite bad.

I'd really really prefer not to put the Outlook app on (or anywhere near) my phone. There's a syncing process that involves setting up your MS 365 account on your phone, but if I can avoid that, I'd like to. IDK if it's possible. Any ideas?

Anybody know a good calendar/planner app for Linux? Not something linked to an email, or some bogus online service, not a contacts list, or needing my phone or some nonsense, just a way to display a gui of the month, and put reminders on it?

I want to attach something like that to the date on my EWW bar, but I've not found anything good so far. I did look at the Gnome one, but that's doesn't seem to really fit the bill for me, and the Gnome foundation is horrible, sooo... any ideas?

Also, having a dark mode would be ideal for the sake of my eyes.

Continuing our volunteer effort to make GNOME Calendar fully accessible with a keyboard (see thread for context), we fixed a major bug that was causing the focus to disappear into the abyss when the user tried to tab into the month view in merge request !576. This means, as of this commit, events should now be completely functional and accessible within the month view. Additionally, the merge request changes the keyboard and focus behavior within the month view: Events can only be cycled using arrow buttons, the focus can't escape the month view with arrow buttons, and entering/exiting the month view can only be done with tab. These improvements will be available on GNOME 49.

After months exclusively using the #OpenSource #Wayland #Sway #WindowManager, I'm finding that I would be grateful if there was a way to do the following with #mouse. Increase the #MouseCursor size, #LockScreen with mouse, open #Calendar with mouse, reboot or shutdown with mouse, adjust screen #brightnessctl and #wlsunset with mouse, open #BluetoothManager with mouse, open wifi and network settings with mouse, #AppLauncher with mouse. I'm uncertain of how to approach some of these on #SwayWM
