I watched ‘Death Race 2000’ for the #MBMC and it was funnier than I remember. The satire went over my head as a kid, but I caught every bit of it this time. The scathing review of consumerism was as plain as Hunger Games or Battle Royale and there are genuinely hilarious moments. Like Willy Wonka before they get in the factory. If I had to give a quick explanation, it’s like a live-action Mario Kart with a lot more violence and nudity.
