Gowan<p>The Paleoclimate Model Intercomparison Project (PMIP) has proposed a new experiment to try and simulate Dansgaard-Oeschger (D-O) cycles during Marine Isotope Stage 3 (57-27 thousand years ago). These were rapid climate change events that happened when CO₂ and ice sheets were at intermediate levels.
