Short Version: Look up #hetznered... And also since they have #datacenters in the #USA, they fall under #CloudAct so they are a "can't use & won't use" for me anyway.
Long version: A hoster has to give 0 fucks about what people do unless it's flat-out illegal and/or harms their systems directly.
Granted, that's my personal opinion and does not reflect present and/or past employers and/or clients!

Microsoft ist eine U.S. Firma und unterliegt dem U.S. CLOUD Act. Es ist völlig egal wo die Server stehen und was Microsoft verspricht. Microsoft muß alle Daten herausgeben.

US-Clouds unterliegen US-Recht – egal, wo die Server stehen. Der Zugriff auf Daten kann jederzeit angeordnet werden, auch außerhalb der USA. Der Rechtsraum kennt keine Landesgrenzen und lässt sich nicht einzäunen.

#Trump literally lashing out against friends and neighbours will only backfire hard, and I expect @EUCommission and @europarl_en to enact #PrizeFreezes for #US #products & #services whilst forcing #Retaliatory #Tariffs on all US #products and espechally #services, demanding 100%+ in all #fees, and #revenue of #GAFAMs' services and products to the point that they'll effectively cancel half their revenue that flows back.
Not to mention cancelling any #DataProtection agreements that only stalled the foreseeable court decision that #CloudAct is incompatible with #GDPR, thus banning #Office365 / #Microsoft365, #iCloud et. al. from the EU!
Given #Trump can't be assed to even fake any #loyality or #allied status even for the cameras, this is a #ForeseeableConsequence.
Unless we want to end up #downgraded into the state of a US-occupied overseas possession without statehood, like #Guam, #PuertoRico or #AVI...

Being a #centralized, #SingleVendor & #SingleProvider solution subject to #CloudAct makes you inherently vulnerable by your own choice and thus trivial to shutdown compared to real #E2EE with #SelfCustody of all the keys and true #decentralization as well as #SelfHosting (i.e. #PGP/MIME [see @delta / #deltaChat et. al.] and #XMPP+#OMEMO [see @monocles / #monoclesChat et. al.]!)
And don't even get me started on you collecting #PII (espechally #PhoneNumbers) for no valid reason, (thus violating #GDPR & #BDSG)...
