Hari Tulsidas<p>The EPA rejected Alabama’s plan to deal with coal ash. The state wanted to regulate the toxic waste as non-hazardous despite the risks to human health and the environment. The EPA said the plan was inconsistent with federal standards and ordered Alabama to revise it. <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/CoalAsh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CoalAsh</span></a> <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/EPA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EPA</span></a> <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/Alabama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Alabama</span></a> <a href="https://insideclimatenews.org/news/06102023/epa-rejects-alabama-coal-ash-plan/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">insideclimatenews.org/news/061</span><span class="invisible">02023/epa-rejects-alabama-coal-ash-plan/</span></a></p>
