Saw that @amigalove tried to login and couldn't because he hadn't called in over 300 days :) I had the threshold set a bit lower than normal because at the time, we had maxed out our userbase of 999 users. Those days are gone I believe, and I've increased it to 2 years. That should help but you still gotta re-register @amigalove ... :) #bbs #commodore
This 5.25" floppy disk was stored in an uninsulated attic for the past 25 years, where the weight of the other disks made it bend over the diskbox edge.
It loaded with zero errors!

Fuzzball was developed by Scangames Norway AS and published by System 3 Software Ltd., a British company known for other Amiga titles. It was released in 1991 as a single-screen platformer, a popular genre at the time. #RetroGaming
Time to start on the 4040 dual disk drive.
I've removed the disk drives and stripped one down and given it a first clean. Everything seems to be there including the belt, the felt pad and the mechanism that moves the head.
Another clean tomorrow and I'll start the other one.

I got help which included the creation of a 6502 zero page RAM tester that didn't exist for PETs - 45 years after the PET was made.
Several chips replaced including most of the RAM and four out of five of the 40 pin chips. And a new label applied as the old one had gone.

Mend It Mark is at it again! Fixing a pretty beat up 1992 #Commodore #Amiga 1200. 1h18 minutes, and I don't regret a single second.
The original Space Taxi was released in 1984 for the Commodore 64, and this version is an unofficial remake, developed in 2016. The game is available for Windows and Linux.

I was playing around with the Mega65 emulator. It's the first BASIC I've typewritten since the 80s and it was fun. Maybe I'll buy one of these modern retrocomputing like machines

One of my all-time favorite Commodore Amiga tunes is the soundtrack of the Brain-State-In-A-Box demo, published in 1994 by the Cryptoburners.
Sad to read that Bill Atkinson has passed away. I was a Commodore kid in those early years of the digital revolution, but my all-time favorite pixel editor, the Amiga's Deluxe Paint ("DPaint"), was inspired by Bill's MacPaint.
