Small batch jam making. From our first year dwarf black mulberry that is already trying to take over the balcony, there were 200g of berries.
Last year after a heavy storm, a branch of a tree broke in the park next door. I asked the Gardner if I could take it & he agreed.
Brought it home to the #balcony. planned it in a large pot with mix of old soil and compost.
Months later, all the leaves fell & I thought it was dead, but today I saw 3 new branches growing from the soil. I'm going to have a giant gorge flower tree in my next place, for free.

My habanero plant, I thought it's dead, have received and has a lot of peppers.
I really thought it's jalapeno. But I'm positively surprised to see that it's not.

Progress on hardening off plants adjusting them to living outside now that weather is appropriately warm enough at night.

Gorgeous flowers.
Amazing how a little #compost, some #rain and sunshine does to a "dead" plant.
I love the yellow colors.

My mint plants are extremely large and healthy this year. It's amazing how different they are compare to last year.
I have 3 plants like this on my balcony.
My largest #jalapeno #pepper plant is coming out of #hibernation.
It needs a new pot too, but I'm not going to do it before leaving the apartment hopefully soon.
Having new flowers on my balcony.
Thes are from a cutting I picked up at the park in Nice.

In Farsi, we call this Khar Zahre (poison of the donkey), I have no idea why. It's Oleander in English and it comes in different colors. We have them everywhere in south of France. Just like in the south of Iran where I was born.
Picked up a broken branch from the street last spring and put it into a pot.
It rooted and this year it's blooming. I really like it.
I want to do the same with the white and the red ones as well.
My donated #avocado tree is now over 2 years old.
Hopefully I will have a yard soon so I can grow it to be a full tree

This Swiss chard on my balcony planter is more than 2 years old.
I have harvested #leaves from it at least 9 times and it's time to cut more leaves again to make #vegetable #soup.
It is absolutely delicious & the highest ROI of my #balcony #garden. #SwissChard
