Over the last few months, I have worked on a social media/book-tracking app with a twist. What twist? When a book is marked as read, you will get skill points. Then, you can compare your skill levels with other users.

newly finished #PixelArt #Background from my #VisualNovel project... ancient cave writing in a deep, dark, underground labyrinth....
I'm estimating that I have less than half of the #soundtrack and audio for my #VisualNovel complete and it's already 348 MB... I haven't compressed the files yet, but I'm worried my total game size is going to be like 2 MB of code, 16 MB of images, and 1 GB of audio...
is that normal? can any #GameDev or #RenPy VN devs here give context from their own creations?

Some more life drawings from today and yesterday. Trying to work more and get to control the medium of charcoal better. Specifically the use of hatching in order to create edge and value hierarchies.
This is a portrait of an artist friend that was so nice to sit for me. Wanted to have some paintings of my friends to hang on the wall but he wanted it very much so I gave it to him instead :). Direct en face portraits are very hard to execute for me and the drawing has a few issues. Looking back it kind of adds to the charm though.
