Honestly, I really hope this timeline shared about Ladybird's release schedule is accurate. It literally can't get here soon enough (in my opinion).

GrapheneOS: Where Licenses Matter More Than People
I chose to write this.

**update**: If you are using this post as some kind of call-to-action to harass and attack the GOS developers, please don't.
That damages everyone. You, them, and myself. It's not helpful.
**Update two**. I have made the decision to pull this post. It is not a good starting-point for a discussion, and just encourages defensiveness on both sides – when there really aren't sides here at all.
As a FOSS contributor, I am deeply ashamed at the way I approached this out of frustration.
@_elena @benjaminbellamy @nicolasvivant @projetslibres_podcast @echirolles We are proud of @echirolles' engagement to use #FOSS !
Amazing talk at #JDLL - a conversation between @benjaminbellamy @nicolasvivant and @projetslibres_podcast about Vivant’s work in the French town of @echirolles making it adopt #FOSS
Staying current means better features, security, and performance, but we know every team is different.
We'd like to know how you approach updates.

Thanks to @saveriobran for the additional tip.
Just release a weekend project: SitemapGen
https://npmjs.com/package/@silexlabs/sitemapgen
It generates a `sitemap.xml` from static HTML, with support for `<html lang>`, `<link rel="alternate">`, and more. In the spirit of @cloudcannon 's #pagebreak, compatible with #SSG like @11ty
It will be used to automate sitemap creation of @silex websites, transparently for the users, with options for power users
Try it now, it's #FOSS
=> npx @silexlabs/sitemapgen -s _site -o _site -u https://example.com
@FediFollows @CryptPad @libreoffice @CollaboraOffice @ONLYOFFICE @thunderbird@mastodon.online @thunderbird@tilvids.com the only MS product I use is VS Code, which I use more like a glorified Notepad than like an IDE; what #FOSS alternatives are there for VS Code?
What's your favorite non-corporate platform for meetup groups?
#Microsoft has put vile LLMs into everything including Notepad & Github: https://www.theregister.com/2025/05/23/microsoft_ai_notepad
Escape this dystopia by switching to #FOSS alternatives:
@CryptPad - Privacy-friendly online office suite, used by the UN
@libreoffice - Most popular free open offline office suite
@CollaboraOffice - Collaborative online fork of LibreOffice
@ONLYOFFICE - Online office suite, self-hostable
@thunderbird@mastodon.online (main) & @thunderbird@tilvids.com (videos) - Email & comms suite (RSS, XMPP, IRC etc)

I quite often want to share a URL from my Desktop PC to any 'phone or tablet. There is a simple way to do it using a QR Code.
This technique requires the use of qrencode and feh (two really useful #FOSS programs you should be using anyway).
This example uses my website as the URL
qrencode -o - -l H -d 300 -t PNG https://fitheach.scot | feh -
Scan the displayed QR Code using the other device. Most 'phones and tablets recognise QR Codes, and pass them to the browser.
