I just signed #FurFreeEurope.
The fur industry is probably dying out in the EU, but we can phase this unethical trade out faster.
For all EU citizens:
”This is not just a petition. Once we reach 1 million validated signatures, the European Commission is obliged to respond and take action.”

@nordicwolf @naomiohreally true, but the industry is becoming increasingly marginalised as more countries adopt bans.
Sadly production is due to resume in Denmark this year after suspension due to Covid, but only a handful of the original 1000+ mink producers want to restart their cruel business.
If you haven’t signed it already, add your name to #FurFreeEurope ECI to call for EU fur farming ban!

🎉Today, the European Citizens Initiative for a #FurFreeEurope reached the threshold of 1 million signatures in just over 6 months.
✅While a major milestone, we cannot get ahead of ourselves. These signatures must still be verified. Some may be deemed invalid.
🇪🇺 EU citizen & haven’t yet signed the #ECI to ban #fur #farming What are you waiting for?!
