Hello Mastodon!

I'm here to promote a social discord server specifically for post-transition/late stage transition trans people. How you identify as a trans or nonbinary person does not matter as long as you consider yourself completed or near completion in your transition! This community exists because most online trans communities are overwhelmingly represented by people who are pre/early-transition. The server has a vetting process for safety purposes which just involves showing some proof of your trans status and telling us a little about yourself. Additionally, if you have had or are actively pursuing surgery we can connect you to surgery support communities too.

A dear friend of mine is seeking a surgeon for #vaginoplasty located in the state of Georgia. She needs someone who will accept Georgia Medicaid for #GCS and specifically "bottom surgery".

She has already spoken to a couple who claim to do GCS, only to find they only do breast augmentation.

Any pointers? Is there a registry of surgeons? I know that the stories I've heard have been located outside my current state.

When they talk about time limits on breast growth for trans women, I... I'm not sure I believe that.

This is previous Christmas to today. 3 1/2 years HRT to 4 1/2.

From kind of a smallish C to I'm pretty sure a D at this point (and... I'm really, really hoping it stops here).

Noting, too, though, that I had GCS just before the first one. That may have spurred things on, it may not.
