The Cathedral of Málaga, locally known as 'La Manquita' or 'The One-Armed Lady', was never completed. Its second tower remains unfinished due to redirected funding in the 18th century. Nonetheless, the building stands as a striking centerpiece of the old town of Málaga, especially when it catches the warm evening light during golden hour.

The Long Way Back.

(We later walked most of that valley under the stars — moments & experiences to live for...)

View from higher up into a beautiful long and steep mountain valley curving into the distance, just before sunset. In the foreground, slopes covered in dwarf mountain pines and other bushes. In the background the steep slopes and rock faces on one side of the valley are bathed in warm orange golden light, god rays visible in the hazy evening air. Serene pale blue sky. Only a small section of the valley floor is visible, our path winding through meadows and forest. On that evening the pictures was taken, we would only get to that section 2 hours later and walked the rest under the stars.
