Elyse M Grasso<p>I am trying to find out the name of a part I bought at a hardware store, probably in the bolts and screws department, about 25 years ago.</p><p>It was about 3/8 inch in diameter and had one threaded end that I put into the wall. The shaft that stuck out of the wall was straight for 2 or 3 inches, then bent at a right angle and continued for about another inch.</p><p>I don't know what it was supposed to be used for. It made a great place to put my keys whenever I was home.</p><p><a href="https://historians.social/tags/askfedi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>askfedi</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/HardwareStore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HardwareStore</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/bolt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bolt</span></a></p>
