Jewels :neocat_comfy_mug:<p>I'm looking for a set of headphones or earbuds that have these specific qualities: <br>1. comfortable for long sessions even when I'm wearing glasses (which is all the time) so obviously earbuds but maybe headphones are better for noise canceling...<br>2. different levels of noise dampening and/or canceling functions</p><p>The deal is this: I've always been <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/HighlySensitive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HighlySensitive</span></a> and since I've had <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/longCOVID" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>longCOVID</span></a> it's become much, much more of a thing. I know noise sensitivity is also a thing for many people with <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/meCFS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>meCFS</span></a> <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/pwME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwME</span></a>, and I have a lot of overlapping symptoms with that condition including this. </p><p>I don't listen to music or anything very much any more; it tends to rattle my nerves too much. :sadness: So it would be cool if they can connect to my TV or whatever, but I'm not super picky about audio playback quality here. </p><p>I want a comfy set of headphones or earbuds to wear around my house when there is too much noise outside. Right now there's a construction site down the block, and sometimes the neighbors' kids spend long sessions playing in their yard screaming. These are normal noises, of course, but with the windows open due to the summer weather, they are stressing me out a lot. </p><p>I usually use earbuds to listen to audio when I travel because I find headphones smush my ears into the arms of my glasses and start to really hurt. So I would need some super comfy, cushiony, maybe adjustable headphones that won't do that. And that I can use for noise canceling without playing music or other audio. My bluetooth earbuds (free with my Fairphone) switch off after a short time without playing any audio. </p><p>I've looked at "best of" articles online, aimed at audiophiles and at people on the autism spectrum, but thought I'd also seek out personal recs from fellow glasses-wearers here. </p><p>Because of my fatigue I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to go to a store to try out any, so I'll probably order a couple and then return the ones that I don't keep. </p><p>Please boost so I can get some spread! Thank you! :boost_requested: </p><p><a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/neurodiverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>neurodiverse</span></a> <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/autism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>autism</span></a> <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/sensory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sensory</span></a> <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/HSP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HSP</span></a> <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/HighlySensitive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HighlySensitive</span></a> <a href="https://lgbtqia.space/tags/QuietPlease" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>QuietPlease</span></a> <span class="h-card"><a href="https://a.gup.pe/u/longcovid" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>longcovid</span></a></span> <span class="h-card"><a href="https://a.gup.pe/u/mecfs" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>mecfs</span></a></span></p>
