this is the closest i got for #jmusicfriday, because underseas is still #underwater!
i don't have a streaming link, and there is no legal way to get to listen to this album anymore, so here you go, piracy ftw

@kingu Happy #JMusicFriday! Theme is "Underwater"
I've picked "Dolphin Shoals" from Mario Kart 8, specifically this incredibly lush ensemble version:

Today is J Music Friday!
The theme for today is FIRE
Songs about fire or heat!
Tell us about HOT things!!
Look like there is a new #Music hashtag in town #FunkyChickenFriday
For the songs that make you bob your head like a funky chicken...
I vote for PELICAN Which is also a fun song that noobs can enjoy, so #JMusicFriday also apply!
Today's theme for #JMusicFriday is "For the noob"... a song for people new to JMusic
As @nazokiyoubinbou pointed out, it really depend on who is asking and their own music tastes.
But one unit that cut from the typical "JPop" sound while still staying an idol group is There There Theres. (Also Bellring but it's weirder)
They may not like it, but, at least, they get that JMusic is not always a derivative of Babymetal and KPP...

#jmusicfriday is about recommending a song #forthenoob.
i have tried making many people listen to the stuff i listen to, and so far, this track has recieved much more praise than the others:
https://juno909.bandcamp.com/track/meteology
idk why. it's not even what you'd expect from jmusic. the bass slaps though, and the experimental rythms are just delicious. good stuff.
I'm not quite 100% sure how to answer this #JMusicFriday theme of #ForTheNoob since the only thing I can think of to answer someone new to Japanese music would be to try to figure out what style music they like and suggest something I know of with that style.
I guess I'll go with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bNpHADFGTY
Many people who don't know much about Japanese music assume it's all the stuff they know about in pop. Especially they might think of the super silly stuff like Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (who even made it into Simpsons...) I might like to introduce some people to the fact that there are all kinds out there, including this nice, somewhat grungy sounding rock, so I might introduce someone to something like this just to say "hey, it's not all silly pop!"
Today is the famous J Music Friday !!
Let's play "Let's suppose" and let's suppose someone who know absolutely nothing about Japanese music ask you for a song or an album to introduce them.
What do you pick?
...so the theme is #ForTheNoob
For today's #JMusicFriday, themed #Memory
antique memory by Aina Suzuki, youtube link (audio only):
