George Steffanos<p>🧵1/3<br>July 20, 1983, 42 years ago today: There was a very slight descent and ascent between the crests of Stony Mountain and Sharp Mountain, and then it was all ridge walking for the final seven miles of the day. The rocks continued to be tolerable. There were but a few exceptionally bad stretches.
