When was democracy reduced to voting every few years and never holding elected representatives accountable for their time in office.It’s beyond frustrating to know and to witness the inaction. Having lived austerely for decades now I can attest that the aesthetic pay-off offsets the austerity with an ethical (fuzzy warms) pay-off.
