Roberto von Archimboldi<p>I enjoy reading the comments of football fans. I don't know why. I guess at least most of them have some actual knowledge of the subject.</p><p>There seems to be a lot of beard scratching about Pep Guardiola and Manchester City and a similarly with Arteta and Arsenal. Lots of analysis of where it has gone wrong and what Slot and Liverpool have got right.</p><p>The dominant reason seems to me that both City and Arsenal are exhausted. They, unlike Liverpool, were in the Champion's League last season. Liverpool crashed after coming close to all four competitions a couple of seasons back. They are reaping the reward now. It is visible in the lower number of injuries, but also just in the edge they have over their rivals. They play too much football and it shows. </p><p><a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/MastodonFC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MastodonFC</span></a>, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/LFC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LFC</span></a>, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/ManCity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ManCity</span></a>, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Arsenal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Arsenal</span></a>, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/StopSweatingYourAssets" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StopSweatingYourAssets</span></a></p>
