Scientists paid by the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/asbestos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>asbestos</span></a> industry, for instance, had suppressed results that could damage the product’s reputation. As Nace explained in an interview with The Washington Informer, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/MerrellDow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MerrellDow</span></a> had been 'financing scientific articles to get their way.'
