"#The_Munich_Agreement" – history lessons.

Looking at current events, of course 1938 comes to mind. At that time, #Munich city became a symbol of one of the most fateful decisions in history and the greatest diplomatic failure of the #20th century. It was in #Munich in 1938 that #Great_Britain and #France signed an agreement with #Germany and #Italy to appease #Hitler. The agreement is also known as the #Munich_Betrayal.

🇩🇪 Die Samstage folgen aufeinander, sind aber nicht alle gleich. Nach zwei regnerischen parkruns war es gestern ein sehr heißer parkrun.
Zu den Höhepunkten gehörte der 100. parkrun als Freiwilliger für unseren Laufleiter Thomas. Vielen Dank für dein Engagement!
Ajay hat sich nach seiner Teilnahme an seinem allerersten parkrun letzte Woche entschlossen, diese Woche als Freiwilliger mitzuwirken. Auch dir ein großes Dankeschön!

🇬🇧 Saturdays come and go, but they are never the same. After two wet parkruns, yesterday was a very hot one.
One of the highlights was our Run Director Thomas's 100th parkrun as a volunteer. Thank you for your commitment!
As for Ajay, after participating in his very first parkrun last week, he decided to volunteer this week. A big thank you to you too!

🇩🇪 Obwohl es ein regnerischer Samstagmorgen war, hat der Regen unsere Stimmung nicht getrübt und es kamen dennoch 62 LäuferInnen und WalkerInnen. Vielen Dank an unser Freiwilligenteam dieser Woche, insbesondere an Elena und Elias, die zum ersten Mal mitgeholfen haben! Der Sommer verspricht, nächste Woche zurückzukehren!

🇬🇧 Despite it being a wet Saturday morning, the rain didn’t dampen our spirits and still brought 62 runners and walkers. Thanks to our volunteer team this week, especially Elena and Elias, who helped out for the first time! The summer promises to return next week!
