#throwback to that short period when I was just getting started with sewing and was making 3D plushies. At one point, I decided to try making the characters of one of my favourite childhood game: Banjo Kazooie.
The backpack was functional and you could put Kazooie in it.
My sister has this one.

So, I have been playing a lot of Star Wars games recently, and one of the ones I went back to was Rogue Squadron for the #N64

When I did my Let's Play, I played the PC port, and that was... Uniquely challenging, it doesn't feel right. Heck, the TIEs can't fly smoothly. They seem to bounce erratically through the sky.

Anyway.

I've been playing the N64 version, just to log it as completed on RA.
During this process, I managed to do something I thought would be quite insurmountable.

I got a gold medal on Escape from Fest.
Those who know the stage know it is frustrating as you need to use a Snowspeeder to escort a bunch of AT-PTs, and AT-PTs are pretty flimsy.

I always viewed Fest as the hardest stage on the game as a child, so getting a Gold medal on this really puts some demons to rest for me.

I more or less completely rewrote the water shader by now. Not sure about the wave tops. What do you think? I definitely try to go for a more cartoonish style.

Over the past 30 some-odd years, #Nintendo's consoles seem to have had a bust-boom cycle with their success. The #N64 did well, the #Gamecube wasn't so successful, the #Wii sold like gang busters, the Wii U sold poorly, and the Switch sold very well. Due to that trend, as well as the announcement of the prices, I'm sure we can see where the #Switch2 is going. #NintendoSwitch2 #VideoGames #Business
