Cybersecurity experts go to great lengths to teach us all never to click on links in emails that go to a website that's different to the one they look like they go to, especially if they are anything to do with money.

And then Nationwide routinely send emails in which all their links display as "nationwide.co.uk" but actually go to some BS tracking URL at a different domain.

WTF, Nationwide?

@glynmoody! I had a very similar experience with #Nationwide over a £200 purchase. They held it up as a possible scam, I confirmed it was ok and happy to take the risk. They froze my account and refused to unlock it until I gave them records of my past experience and competence in the area, which I refused to do and told them to close the account instead.

Long story short, I switched, they caused endless hassle both then and in the changeover and gave me £75 to compensate.
