Since we will be shutting down #AllThingsTech in the coming weeks, I have decided to create an account over on infosec.exchange at this time.

Thank you to @jerry for the very warm welcome and for allowing me to migrate over.

Yesterday marked the end of my 7th year at fediverse. But I didn't have my real "move" until 2022.

I think I've slowly arrived now. I've left the old platform (which was a source of joy for me for a long time) behind me and now I need to seriously start reconnecting with friends, fans and people I left behind...

No regrets though! I love being here. :)

If there's anyone you think I should definitely follow, please let me know.

Dad sent me some pics as well, so I may upload some of those as well. And I made two quick videos but I need to make them smaller to fit on this server. 😊 I'm working on it!

Vids coming ASAP!!

Hope it gives a good impression of the house. I didn't get any pictures from the outside and we didn't stay too long. It was so busy (I felt very anxious with so many people, even though they'll be my new neighbors, time enough to meet them later on) and it was very warm (28°C) and I was also tired... So my parents and I walked around, took pics and the vids I'll share soon, and we headed home again before traffic would be bad...
Time enough in a few months to take make pictures when it's done and when I'll be working on it... Alone and with friends! 😁

Asking for recommendations:

I'm looking for a new instance. #universeodon has become essentially unusable since Byron's departure and the recent server migration. A mix of timeouts, server failures, and just missing posts. I've been supporting it via Patreon so am more than willing to support a new server.

What i'd like is stability and reasonable performance. An interesting local feed is a bonus. Not looking for an instance based on a single interest group or one that's highly ideological.

Suggestions?

(Now we'll see if this actually posts and if I'm actually able to see replies.)
