Nicolas RinckCette espèce est particulièrement vulnérable aux feux répétés qui menacent son habitat déjà restreint. Nicolas RinckHier, lors de notre mission sur l’Île des Pins, nous avons pu observer Xylosma pininsulare, un arbrisseau endémique en danger critique d’extinction (CR). Il ne pousse que sur les sols ultramafiques du Pic N’Ga, dans un maquis minier dégradé.
