“How much to be a general?”
“You can only buy rank up to Colonel. Generalcy is strictly bestowed on merit”
“How much is merit?”

We are the last neighbourhood in Germany to finally cut the cord to the grid. Renewables, solar panels, batteries, owned by us all as a local cooperative, means that we don’t need the Grid anymore. We now have free electricity, 100% green and can even sell excess. Our connection to the grid is for selling, not for buying.

“I always thought they were made up”
“You don’t see them much in public any more. Not since the blitz. But there’s always been one or two in the House of Lords”
“Wait, what?”
“Oh yes, it’s been like that ever since Queen Charlotte befriended the Wombles in the Buckingham House Warren. They used to hide her from her mother.”
“But a Womble as Home Secretary?”
“It’s their country too. I gather they called in some rather large ancient favours; besides, cleaning up humans’ mess is their Calling”

Hey, y'all, given how corrupt Justice #ClarenceThomas is, maybe his nephew IS at risk of following in his uncle's dirty footsteps. #sarcasm #OrIsIt

So anyone in the state legislatures must recuse themselves from any school/educational legislation because they have a child in school?
No?
Didn't think so.
Legislative members waving their ducks is not the same as the Star Spangled Banner preceeding the "off the air" color bars off 1950's TV.
