I've seen some beautiful funnel pours recently, and I haven't done one in years so I gave it a go. Not my best work: thin paints and too much color (I lost my black base), but it gave me a better idea for my next attempt

Work in Progress on a new piece started today which is already mixed media collage and acrylic. Tried an experiment and liking it!
Looking forward to see how this evolves. The orange red of her dress will be gold colored when done maybe even gold leaf or paint? Lots still to do, but really happy with how it’s coming along.Its another largish piece, Mixed Media 24 x 36” on wood panel.

One arm is resting on what looks like a rock, but it’s the roof of a house. Water is at her feet & surrounding her. A couple of buildings in the back are also submerged, mainly their roofs seen. The sky is filled with collaged bits of painted rice paper in shapes from the Flying Geese quilt pattern.
