The Carpentries<p>The Carpentries Gratitude of the Month is to Aman Goel, Research Software Engineer at the The University of Manchester and Fellow at <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@SoftwareSaved" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>SoftwareSaved</span></a></span>. Aman is leading the organisation of a Training Community Day to follow the Research Software Engineering Conference <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/RSECon25" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSECon25</span></a> in September! </p><p>Featuring talks and interactive discussions on the skills and competencies needed by <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/ResearchSoftwareEngineers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ResearchSoftwareEngineers</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/RSE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSE</span></a> now and in the future, and how the community can collaborate to address those needs, the Training Community Day promises to be a highly relevant event for Carpentries community members.
