Kyle BrennanI only got around to playing one Steam Next Fest demo: Abyssus. But it was a lot of fun! I appreciate them because they do take actual photographs of Cornwall and keep the games based on it.In Lammana, you visit a modern-day exhibition about this journey. But then you can enter the presentation and play in the past.Didn't get very far because it made me motion-sick. From the 'Getting Over It' peeps, so it's all about the movement as you control the main character's legs.A masterclass in good character introduction and funny dialogue. The gameplay itself is okay, I'm not huge on these QWOP-y games, so I'm not sure what to make of it. dona 🌿Agatha Christie - Death on the NileWhat a cool looking game! I love it when games don't hold back and go all out on style. In this one, Poirot gets to solve a case in 70s disco club, and he's joined by a new detective (second playable character, although not in the demo).But... I have the same issue as the previous game based on Orient Express: I find these games very dry and slow. The deductions are spoon-fed to you, and the writing is really dull.
