"If you have stayed quiet until now, telling yourself that all this is just far too complicated for you to speak up about, it is not too late to raise your voice. What is happening in #Gaza is different from the horrors happening in #Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo because, if you are in the west, it is happening in your name. It's happening with your tax money"

"A federal judge in Massachusetts said Wednesday that the Trump administration was 'unquestionably in violation of this court’s order' when it tried to deport eight detainees to South Sudan on Tuesday, because the men didn’t get an opportunity to challenge their removal to that country or any other third-country destination."

#Sudan #Why?

Can you cope with another world crisis ?
Some history: there was a popular rebellion against the dictator Bashir, followed by a civilian government. Which was toppeled by an army coup. That was another beginning of a very bloody civil war. Very fast it became a proxy war.
A proxy for/by other dictators, arab and chinese. Arms dealers found a rich trading ground.
It became a testing ground for the Military Industrial Complex.

"May 20, 2025 #sudan #displacement #war
The United Nations has called this the most devastating humanitarian and displacement crisis in the world.
Killings, rapes and famine are affecting millions of people. What will happen to the people of Sudan if things don't change? And why is this crisis being mostly ignored by the international community?

US must keep control of migrants sent to South Sudan in case removals were unlawful, judge rules

apnews.com/article/deportation

U.S. District Judge Brian E. Murphy in Massachusetts issued the ruling after an emergency hearing, after attorneys for immigrants said the Trump administration appears to have begun deporting people from Myanmar and Vietnam to South Sudan — despite a court order restricting removals to other countries.
