Winwaed<p>Hobbies in recent yrs have included <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/homebrewing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>homebrewing</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/modelrailroading" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>modelrailroading</span></a>. This past year I've been into <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/radioastronomy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>radioastronomy</span></a> &amp; am a member of the Soc of Amateur Radio Astronomy.<br>So far I've been experimenting with <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/ELF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ELF</span></a> - detecting whistlers from thunderstorms. As you can imagine, living in the S. Plains of the US are a good source!</p><p>I've also been operating a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/SuperSID" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SuperSID</span></a> (Solar Ionosphere Disturbance) <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/VLF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VLF</span></a> receiver but WinPC was unreliable so replacing with a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/raspi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>raspi</span></a>. I'll post my progress &amp; results!</p>
