Any #SysAdmin #Webhost type folks recognise what's happening in this screenshot of an #FTP connection attempt? It will loop this indefinitely. Hosting provider seems to be unable to fix it, or is out of their depth. This is after the webhost did an internal system migration. No change at my end (which worked perfectly before their migration).

According to them, FTP works fine *for them*. For me, it effects all FTP apps, and whether my ISP IP, or any VPN IP.

Anyone out there have experience writing custom filters for fail2ban? I trying to write my first one for Apache on AlmaLinux 8 and running into problems. I’m not sure if the problem is the regex or the fact that I’m trying to scan multiple log files using wildcards in the logpath.
