The way they cut in Danny Elfman’s version of Lalo Schifrin‘s Mission: Impossible theme was timed perfectly and elevated the energy of that sequence.

Time for my annual survey of Poitiers SNCF station, though much ealier in the day than usual. So I arrived here with #TGV inOui 8331 out of Montparnasse at 7.30, on time at destination at 9.34. A proper train, with refurb'ed Atlantique set no 403. Other notes and pictures to follow

B. #Mannheim , #Heidelberg, #Ulm und München [..] geht es an ausgewählten Samstagen bis 4. Oktober über #Innsbruck, #Landeck#Zams nach #StAnton am #Arlberg [..].
Pour la #SNCF, je pense que c'est une #antifeature. Si je me trouve une correspondance qu'ils ne vendent pas, ils refusent que je l’achète en 1 seul coup pour que j'aie moins de chances d'avoir des droits en cas de pb.
En l’occurrence, #TGV Inoui + TGV Inoui, avec une correspondance... de 1h, plus longue que celle que la SNCF propose. Ben oui mais il affiche complet celui que la SNCF propose !!

I have been buying my #train tickets on @12train for a few months now and have been globally happy with the experience. The site is clean, fast, and sufficiently ethical from a surveillance capitalism perspective, which puts them head and shoulders above the competition.
My only issue has been around the proper application of Railcard discounts for accompanying passengers. I usually travel solo so it doesn't come up much, but when I'm travelling with a companion, I still have to use e.g. Trainline. I have raised the issue and hopefully it will get addressed in the future!
Still, top marks and I highly recommend you check out 12train out for all your #TER, #TGV, #Intercités, #Eurostar, and #Lyria ticketing needs.

La SNCF pourrait choisir Starlink, le vaste réseau de Musk, pour équiper ses trains de la technologie satellite face à son rival européen Eutelsat. En septembre dernier, SpaceX a déjà été sélectionné par Air France-KLM pour installer progressivement le wifi à bord de tous ses avions. @jon It would appear I never posted here my design improvements for inOui. I sent it to the #TGV CM on twitter, just got a standard reply. It would *seem* TGV M and Oxygène EMUs will have a slightly better design but I fear it may not be enough. (haven't seen it in person yet)
**Everytime** I take a TGV, people sit in the wrong rows. It's usually not that big a deal, but the confusion and mild chaos are time consuming for everyone. With the occasional asshole that makes a whole fuss. #ui #uiux
