Rosie Baruah<a href="https://critcare.social/@iwashyna" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@iwashyna</a> Braun and Clark in their most recent book on <a href="https://critcare.social/tags/ThematicAnalysis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ThematicAnalysis</a> encourage researchers to go right back to the original recordings of interviews before starting theme development exactly for this reason. If our interpretations of words aren’t situatated and contextualised I guess you might as well just constuct lots of word clouds and work off that!What is said, how its said, and what is not said and why makes the process of analysis so much fun, as well as better IMO
