It was a good system and a way to connect with community and provide <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/MutualAid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MutualAid</a> and share skills!TimeBanking 101"Time banking replaces money. Provide an hour of service to your neighbor and earn one time dollar. A TimeBank is a network of members that have agreed they will provide and receive services from each other, albeit not directly. (This is not Barter.) Nothing is given 'in consideration of' and there are no binding contracts. Members have a moral obligation of reciprocity to the community. molly in missouriIs there a way to set up a message board that would allow people with crappy barely smart phones that only work on wifi (bc no service plan) to interact? I ultimately want to create a timebank/skillshare that can connect people who want to form a resiliant community but can't always predict where everyone will be, or when. I also intend to set up a little spot with free wifi, like a little cafe table with shade and available drinking water, so people walking thru the relatively heavily traveled alley behind our house can sit and check their messages or look up bus schedules or find an available shelter or at least safer sleeping spot for the night.
