#TinyDeskConcert der ÖRR in USA bietet diese Woche Dua Lipa. Ich hab sie erst mit ihrem Abspannlied »Swan Song« für »Alita Battle Angel« (2019) mitbekommen. Finde es irre gut, wie PBS die Musiker ermuntert, mit kleinem Set Up ohne großes Gedöns (z.B. fett Verstärker) einfach nur die #GutMukke zu schrammeln, wie in so’ner kleinen Kneipe.

Butcher Brown call their style "solar music" (the name of their latest album) because the Richmond, Va. band's members are influenced by everything under the sun. They made their Tiny Desk debut on Feb. 28 with a five-song set that NPR describes as "psychedelic jazz funk with a hip-hop polish" — the perfect soundtrack to see you into the weekend.

Pese a ser generación Z, no soy un gran fan de la música urbana actual. Opino que la música actual ha pedido calidad en los últimos 10 años frente a décadas como los 90/80. Sin embargo, estoy empezando a dejar atrás estos prejuicios gracias a los #TinyDesk, conciertos acústicos organizamos por National Public Radio (NPR) americana. Así que aquí os dejo una pequeña selección que me ha sorprendido por su calidad.
