Other nonbinary and/or trans people can make great friends. If you can offer your company and accept theirs, then it'll most likely be worth it.
They'll help you bear the weight of living in a bigoted society, and you'll lighten their burden, too.

It's alright to reevaluate your labels.
Language, people, and the world changes, and you have to adapt in your own way.
You don't exist to represent labels. Labels are for you to use.
Transitioning involves taking hold of your own fate in a uniquely powerful way.
You can be proud of that power.
You deserve a good life.
Society may have treated you poorly, but that doesn't mean you've earned it.
You are valued and needed by us all.
Change your name if you need to.
Life is about adapting, changing, and evolving. If you’re changing that means you’re alive.
You can say "no" to spending time with bigoted family.
Even if you don't have control over who you spend time with during the holidays, you can maintain the few boundaries you do have.
It isn't a question of being a good, bad, or rude person. It's about your health and survival.
Do what you must to survive.
“I remind myself that my time will eventually come and I'll be able to get the chest I've always wanted. I remind myself that I'm valid and that even if my chest isn't flat, I'm still a man. I use clothes to help a lot because if they're baggier they cover my chest better.” Ethan

I FINALLY found the video where OneTopicAtATime said these immortal, epic words!!!
"If you think that you might be faking it, it's a really good sign that you're not.
When you can hear yourself telling you who you are, listen to yourself."
He says this in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBvBr5h-vpw at about 8 minutes 40 seconds.
This is a friendly reminder that:
Trans women are women, trans men are men, genderqueer people are really genderqueer, and nonbinary people are truly nonbinary.
Anyone who feels that they must contest the above statement deserves to plant their foot firmly upon at least one Lego.
