No member of #PalestineAction (PA) has ever been convicted by any court of any such thing. That's precisely why she proscribed the #organisation - because of her frustration that the regular #criminal #law wasn't dealing with PA the way she expected it to.

@sean It is, surely, a question of the level of #violence. To put #PalestineAction (PA) in the same category as #AlQaeda or #IslamicState is utterly absurd. Have PA, or any of its members, blown anyone up, or shot anyone? Or planned to do so? No. Throwing red paint at RAF jets isn't #terrorism.

Meanwhile, a comparison of the documents covering #ElSalvador shows the #Trump admin downplaying the country’s history of #prison #violence, emphasizing that there has been a reduction overall while stating that purported deaths were under govt review. Trump has expressed fondness for El Salvador’s president, Nayib #Bukele, & hosted him in the Oval Office earlier this year after the admin secured an agreement to deport people to the country’s notorious #CECOT megaprison.

It is unclear whether the reports eventually transmitted to #Congress & released to the public will mirror the drafts.

The internal guidance circulated by #State Dept earlier this year INSTRUCTED diplomats responsible for drafting reports to REMOVE references to numerous potential #HumanRights violations, including govts that had deported people to a country where they could face #torture, crimes that involve #violence against #LGBTQ people & govt #corruption.
