Puts the world in perspective a bit. Got woken by a nervous crew mate at 4am when the wind had picked up across the beam and the boat had a distinct lean… but deep hulled and heavy displacement so nothing to worry about. Tore down past <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Alderney" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Alderney</a>, <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Guernsey" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Guernsey</a> & <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Sark" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Sark</a> at 8+ knots to arrive in Gorey to a welcome with coffee and breakfast rolls. Can't wait.

On the Island of <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Alderney" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Alderney</a> when the Sun is right, on the top of one of the MANY Nazi <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/bunkers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bunkers</a> from the sad occupation of the island, you can find some Jackboot prints from the solders who guarded the slave labour ( also some dog prints too ) : ( - Evil solidified!
