Harro JanszSeceda My first time at the northern edge of the immensely beautiful Alpe di Siusi, at the famous Seceda, the sky was mostly blue. The second time, though, clouds were hanging between the peaks of Gran Fermeda (the mountain on the left) and Sas Rigais (the 'crown' in the middle). This looked far more interesting. Coupled with the purple flowers in the foreground, this is a view that you don't want to skip when you're here. The Elm and the Raven‘Fagus Sunset’ The glorious detail of Tasmania’s native deciduous beech. Shot in the off season, and treated with an artistic colour wash, these leaves will soon make way for the spring growth. Fresh green buds forming, pushing the russet red leaves to carpet the sodden ground.
