Taken at Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, FL before back to back blows from Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the area. Those people in the foreground looking towards the sunset added a nice element, so I decided not to brush them out in post. Khurram Wadee ✅My experimentation with my new <a href="https://mastodon.org.uk/tags/MacroLens" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MacroLens</a> continues. Some things I’ve noticed are that: obviously it’s sensitive to small movements and so a steady hand and subject are needed and that the <a href="https://mastodon.org.uk/tags/DepthOfField" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#DepthOfField</a> is quite small. So, I think it’s better to switch to <a href="https://mastodon.org.uk/tags/AperturePriority" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AperturePriority</a> mode rather than automatic so that I can select a higher <a href="https://mastodon.org.uk/tags/F" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#F</a>-Stop to increase the depth. This means that the shutter speed goes down and so one still needs a steady hand or tripod.
