Queer Naèl - (Lisoo)Bon, hier c'était vraiment pas glorieux. Quand je disais ne comprendre qu'un mot sur deux, c'était bien sûr à l'écrit, où je ne comprenais pas l'implicite même quand je savais qu'il y en avait, et la signification d'emoji était laborieuse également. J'ai l'impression que quand mon cerveau n'a plus de jus, la fatigue et la non alimentation ayant été particulièrement intenses hier, ça touche en premier mes capacités de communication en situation d'interactions. Parce que j'ai, par exemple, parfaitement réussi à écrire un courrier pour un médecin, y'a pas d'interaction, je faisais à partir de notes. J'ai envoyé le courrier, échange de 2 messages courts avec la personne concernée qui devait l'imprimer : "c'est envoyé, l'avez-vous reçu ?" - "oui" - "mettez le dans une enveloppe, confidentiel" - "d'accord, merci", et hop. Bon, ça m'a crevae et je n'ai pas pu faire un autre truc du genre, mais aussi parce que je savais que cet autre truc déclencherait une discussion, certes agréable, mais discussion. J'ai aussi parfaitement réussi à cuisiner, quelque chose de complexe, mais dont je connaissais par coeur les étapes.Mais discuter, whaaaw, c'était vraiment compliqué, de pire en pire au fil de la journée, jusqu'à ce que je mange tard le soir en fait. Quand j'écris des messages comme celui au-dessus, si mes phrases deviennent "brutes", c'est pas pour faire genre hein. Vraiment mon cerveau a du mal à constituer des phrases, même dans ma tête.Et aussi, au téléphone le soir, je ne comprenais rien non-plus. Le cerveau cramé, mais aussi parce qu'il y avait des mots que je n'entendais pas. Le mot "pause" était inaudible pour moi (ça paraît fortuit, mais la raison c'est qu'il y a une prononciation pluss "profonde" qui rend le son plutôt medium, contrairement à "minute" qui sera plus aigu par exemple). Il faut vraiment que je réinsiste auprès de la CPAM pour mes appareils, parce que je me rends compte que je suis en fait perpétuellement en train de compenser, reconstituer les mots et phrases, et forcément si je suis HS, ce n'est plus possible. Ma perte d'audition est certes "légère à modérée", mais par exemple le test de compréhension fait il y a quelques mois, au début je réussissais super bien (c'est aléatoire, pas progressif hein), mais je n'ai même pas réussi à le finir tellement mon cerveau n'en pouvait plus. Je n'étais pourtant pas dans un état catastrophique de fatigue, mais 20 minutes (sur 30 du coup) passées à forcer pour comprendre le mot énoncé (ce sont des mots volontairement trompeurs en terme de sonorité), bah mon cerveau a fini par abandonner. Alors oui, le TDAH peut ne pas aider, mais j'avoue que plus je me renseigne sur la surdité et la malentendance, plus je me rends compte que mon vécu correspond bien au handicap auditif aussi.Et je flippe un peu qu'à force de cramer mon cerveau, par négligence des besoins essentiels du corps pour fonctionner, ce handicap s'accentue également. Bref. Je vais dormir. Ça aussi c'est un besoin essentiel. Una Vita da CinefiloCapitolo 391: Cavalli a Dondolo e CammelliC’è tanta carne nel fuoco di questo freddo novembre, dal quale sono riemersi dai letarghi estivi i piumini più caldi e i cappotti più lunghi. Sette film che ballano tra la grandezza assoluta e la schifezza più inutile, ma anche tra primissimi piani su ragazze bellissime (Celeste Dalla Porta e Jennifer Connelly) a campi lunghissimi di cammelli nel deserto, fino a portarci nel distopico futuro di Coppola. Insomma, c’è talmente tanta roba da aver lasciato fuori dall’elenco l’ultimo film di Clint Eastwood, Giurato Numero 2, di cui però potete leggere la <a href="https://unavitadacinefilo.com/2024/11/11/recensione-giurato-numero-2-2024/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">recensione completa</a>. Tanti altri grandi film sono in arrivo, per cui restate sintonizzati (e vi ricordo che potete seguire tutto ciò che vedo sulla mia pagina <a href="https://letterboxd.com/lessio/films/diary/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Letterboxd</a>).The Snapper (1993): Trasposizione televisiva, prima dell’approdo in sala, realizzata da Stephen Frears, che ha adattato l’esilarante romanzo Bella Famiglia di Roddy Doyle. La figlia maggiore di una numerosa famiglia di Dublino resta incinta (snapper, in dialetto irlandese, significa proprio sbarbatello, bebé), ma non vuole rivelare l’identità del padre. I pettegolezzi inondano il quartiere e toccherà al patriarca Colm Meaney (irresistibile come sempre) mettere a tacere le voci e tenere unita la famiglia. Nel pieno della tradizione cinematografica irlandese dell’epoca (vedi The Commitments o Due sulla Strada, entrambi tratti da romanzi di Doyle), il film è spassoso, divertente, pienamente godibile, grazie anche ad una fotografia molto calda, botta e risposta secchi, immagini sempre ricche di personaggi. Good vibes a non finire: ok la moda degli anni 80, ma che bello pure il cinema degli anni 90. •••½Parthenope (2024): Una fantasia maschile confezionata dalle mani di un maestro. Una ragazza bellissima che tutti desiderano e nessuno riesce a tenersi, una città splendida nella sua decadenza, crepuscolare nel suo splendore, accecato da sole, mare, bellezze di marmo rovinate dal tempo e il solito caleidoscopio di personaggi più o meno iconici. In questo film si giocano due campionati: quello dei pesi massimi, quando vedi in scena Gary Oldman e Silvio Orlando (pagherei oro per vedere uno spin-off incentrato solo su di lui), e poi quello in cui giocano i giovani attori, fuori luogo e fuori posto (casting discutibile). Alcuni momenti ovviamente splendidi e scelte musicali perfette, è pur sempre un film di Paolo Sorrentino, oltre ad alcune riflessioni sul tempo che passa che sono esattamente pane per i miei denti. Nel complesso però è un film sfilacciato, che si specchia nelle sue frasi ad effetto e nella bellezza della milanese Celeste Dalla Porta, dalla quale, come del resto fanno i personaggi del film, non riusciamo a staccare gli occhi di dosso (anche perché, con tutti quei primi piani, sarebbe difficile). Per essere un film di Sorrentino è deludente, non c’è dubbio, anche se sono tanti i momenti che ti porti appresso dopo l’uscita dalla sala. •••Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story (2024): Bellissimo e soprattutto emozionante documentario realizzato da Ian Bonhôte e Peter Ettedgui, incentrato sull’attore Christopher Reeve, primo, indimenticabile Superman cinematografico e, per quanto mi riguarda, unico Superman esistente (quello dei film dei due Richard, Donner e Lester). Il documentario ripercorre la vita di Reeve, il celebre casting per Superman, scoraggiato dal compagno di teatro William Hurt, la vita sentimentale, la famiglia e, ovviamente, l’incidente e la conseguente lesione spinale che lo rese tetraplegico. Un film che sottolinea la capacità dell’attore di trovare una nuova vita, di impegnarsi in una fondazione per la ricerca e di non mollare mai un centimetro nonostante la paralisi, il tutto raccontato dai suoi figli e dalle persone che gli erano accanto (come i colleghi Susan Sarandon, Jeff Daniels, Glenn Close e Whoopi Goldberg). Emozionano in particolare gli aneddoti sulla straordinaria amicizia tra Christopher Reeve e Robin Williams. Una storia piena di intensità (ma anche di momenti ironici), un racconto ben realizzato, un bellissimo documentario. •••½Audition (1999): Che Takashi Miike sia matto scocciato (in senso buono) è abbastanza risaputo. Che si sia fatto conoscere in tutto il mondo grazie a questo film, l’ho scoperto solo ora. Rimasto vedovo, un uomo di mezza età, incoraggiato dal figlio, decide di aprirsi nuovamente all’amore. Grazie a un amico, produttore cinematografico, organizza un’audizione per un film che non si farà mai, al solo scopo di poter incontrare e conoscere una gran quantità di donne diverse. La scelta cade su una ragazza molto dolce e dall’aria malinconica, che secondo l’amico produttore però ha fornito solo referenze false. Che si nasconde dietro? Dietro si nasconde un film strepitoso, in pieno stile Miike, che nasce come romance, prosegue come noir, finisce come… Legatemi, non posso dire altro. Lo trovate su Mubi, ma ci sono alcuni momenti abbastanza cruenti quindi preparatevi. ••••Tutto Può Accadere (1991): Un’ora e venti di male gaze su Jennifer Connelly che, per carità, potrei ammirarla anche per dieci ore, però magari intorno avrei preferito vederci un film. Tentativo (fallito) di rendere Frank Whaley (celebre per essere stato crivellato da Samuel L. Jackson nel primo atto di Pulp Fiction) il nuovo Matthew Broderick. Seconda, nonché penultima regia di Bryan Gordon, è la storia di un adolescente sbruffone, chiacchierone e nullafacente che, obbligato a lavorare come addetto alle pulizie notturno di un grande magazzino, si ritrova a passare la notte con una rampolla ribelle rimasta anch’ella chiusa dentro il negozio (che ovviamente è Jennifer Connelly, mai così meravigliosa, soprattutto nella scena in cui ci imbambola mentre monta su un cavallo a dondolo). John Hughes, tra i produttori e sulla cresta dell’onda per il successo di Mamma Ho Perso l’Aereo, si è talmente vergognato di questo film da chiedere, invano, di non essere citato nei titoli di testa. Non a torto: il film è veramente inutile, non è ironico (ci prova, sicuro, ma il protagonista è troppo irritante per risultare divertente), non è avvincente (e qui neanche ci prova), non è veramente nulla. Ah no, una cosa è senza dubbio: dimenticabile. •Megalopolis (2024): L’opera più divisiva del 2024 nonché una di quelle destinate a essere maggiormente ricordate. Il film a cui Francis Ford Coppola sta lavorando dai tempi di Apocalypse Now è finalmente realtà e c’è talmente tanta roba dentro che meriterebbe un saggio a parte, un approfondimento tutto suo. Quel che è certo è che sarà studiato, analizzato e raccontato in tesi di laurea e corsi universitari, data la sua visione del futuro, il modo in cui mette in scena i lati più oscuri del capitalismo immergendo il tutto in un’enorme metafora sulla caduta dell’Impero Romano. In pochissime parole è la storia di un architetto (Adam Driver) che sogna di costruire un’utopica comunità futuristica per far risorgere la città dai suoi mali. Ad ostacolare il progetto però, c’è un sindaco avido e conservatore (Giancarlo Esposito) che vorrebbe invece costruire un enorme casinò per arricchire le casse comunali. In mezzo a questa faida ci sono complotti, scandali, attentati, sesso, storie d’amore e sensi di colpa, oltre al potere di fermare il tempo, di renderlo sostanza, di plasmarlo a proprio piacimento. Un imponente caleidoscopio di grandezza e decadenza, che non solo mescola New York e l’Antica Roma in un’unica, distopica, realtà, ma riflette anche il pensiero di uno dei più grandi registi della sua generazione, capace di non scendere mai a compromessi con nessuno, di vendere i suoi asset personali pur di mettere in scena la sua visione del mondo, con un messaggio di speranza e una richiesta di ottimismo. Penso che il mondo ancora non sia pronto per questo film, ma ai vostri figli piacerà! ••••Lawrence d’Arabia (1962): La vita va avanti, anno dopo anno, ed è bellissimo ogni tanto scoprire di avere ancora meraviglie di questo tipo da poter vedere per la prima volta. Sembra come rinascere e di finire la giornata sentendoti più ricco, in una migliore versione di te (senza bisogno di prendere alcuna substance!). Durante la prima guerra mondiale, il tenente Peter O’Toole è un cartografo inglese di stanza al Cairo. Interessato alla cultura araba e convinto che le tribù possano diventare un prezioso alleato contro i turchi, che presiedono la penisola araba, viene mandato, tra lo scetticismo dei generali, a incontrare l’emiro Alec Guinness in mezzo al deserto, insieme al quale tenterà di mettere in piedi una rivolta (e se organizzi una rivolta con il futuro Obi Wan Kenobi, le possibilità di successo diventano notevoli). Non so da dove cominciare per magnificare un film di questo genere: la grandezza della messa in scena, tale da farlo sembrare una sorta di Dune ante litteram (non a caso ispirò pesantemente il romanzo di Frank Herbert, uscito tre anni dopo, dove la figura di Paul Atreides mostra molti punti in comune con Thomas Edward Lawrence), la bellezza delle immagini, i risvolti politici e strategici di ogni battaglia, i tanti semi gettati nella storia del cinema (raccolti appunto da Dune, ma anche da <a href="https://unavitadacinefilo.com/2010/03/13/recensione-guerre-stellari-1977/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Star Wars</a>, Braveheart o Avatar, a mio avviso), oltre ad aver ispirato generazioni su generazioni di cineasti.
