I do like to see evidence of history’s chaotic interventions in architecture. This is a building on the market square in Sudbury, and I wonder what is the most likely explanation for how this* happened. Any ideas?

Sitze gerade an der Planung von zwei von mir belegten Seminaren, in die die Uni netterweise ein völliges Chaos reingebracht hat, weil:
Man erstens zeitmäßig in irgendeinem Semester zwei Seminare mit Hausarbeiten belegen muss, weil man sonst nicht in Regelstudienzeit fertig wird (essentiell als Bafög-Abhängige). Und zweitens die Planung der Uni, welche Seminare wann stattfinden, sich dachte: Joa, ich pack mal gleich 2 wichtige Seminare auf den selben Wochentag zur selben Uhrzeit.
Nun kann ich mich damit rumschlagen, an welchem Tag ich zu welcher der beiden Veranstaltungen gehe. Nunja, gibt jetzt halt nen eigenen Seminarplan, mit den beiden im Wechsel eingetragen. 
Weil man ja irgendwie auch sonst nix zu tun hat... Mmpf.
